You'll have to build your stained-glass window by filling your design with coloured dice to earn as many points as possible, thanks to your private and secret objectives, and the public objectives. You'll also have to respect the placement constraints that apply to everyone, as well as those specific to your stained-glass window. To do this, each turn you select 2 dice from the pool common to all players, one when the pool comes to you for the first time from the first player, and the second when it comes back, with less choice, in a boomerang effect. You can take advantage of the various bonuses and tool cards available. Life also introduces Apprentice cards, which help you build your stained-glass window, and the Masterpiece module, which introduces special dice that you can exchange for a die of a given colour or value. These dice will earn you more points as long as you fulfil a new constraint.
