Great Plains (Fr)

Funforge

$43.99

Which tribe will dominate the great plains?

In the valley, two tribes are vying for dominance. To aid them in their quest, they can rely on the animal world to traverse plains and mountains and invade their enemy's territory. Leading each tribe, who will have anticipated and planned for flawless expansion?

With your opponent, you each embody one of the tribes fighting for control of the plains. To determine how these plains will be, randomly draw and place the Plateau tiles hexagonally. Each game will then have its unique game board where strategy and the proper use of resources will be your only allies for victory!

Emerge from your caves!

In the first phase of the game, you will take turns placing your caves. The starting point of your action plan may lie in the choices you make during this round... Once each tribe has placed their 3 Cave tiles, the second phase begins.

Explore the neighboring lands!

You have emerged from your cave. Now, you must occupy the surrounding land to expand! Players will take turns placing a Tribe token on an empty Plain. This Plain must be adjacent to one of their Caves or one of their previously placed tokens.

Mobilize wild animals to fight by your side!

Several squares on the board feature wild animals (Horse, Eagle, or Bear). By placing one of their tokens on such a square, the player will receive a corresponding Animal tile that they can play during the desired turn. It's up to you to judge the opportune moment in the game to play one of these tiles! However, each Animal has its specific effect: while the Horse allows for faster exploration of plains, the Eagle provides the advantage of exploring mountains, and the Bear grants the ability to explore enemy territory.

Once all the Tribe tokens have been placed, the dominance of each Meadow must be determined. Meadows are the adjacent Grass squares. The player with the most tokens in a Meadow scores points equal to the number of squares it consists of. The presence of Springs in the Meadow adds an additional point each.
