It's a truly wonderful day because today we start our big competition! At the dawn of the nation of Traintopia - a land of clean, efficient and fast transport - we're looking for a new president, and we know exactly who we want for the job!
In Traintopia, you have to create a futuristic rail paradise with networks and routes for goods, commuters and tourists. Exactly how do you do that? That's easy! It's your turn:
Draft a tile, commuter, tourist, mailbag or train from the current offering.
Expand your network by adding the newly created component.
Tiles expand your routes. Commuters and tourists score victory points when placed. Post bags and trains offer end-of-game bonuses. In more detail, the game tiles feature railway lines running through different types of neighbourhoods sought after by different types of commuter. What's more, along the way you'll find various landmarks that attract tourists. You need to find the right balance to maximise your scoring potential.
After eight or nine rounds (depending on the number of players), the game ends, and players score completed routes and earn bonus victory points from individual objective cards.
