Description
Calico is a curious game of placing quilts and cats.
In Calico, players compete to sew the most comfortable quilt while collecting and placing patches of different colours and patterns. Each quilt has a particular pattern that must be followed, and players also try to create colour and pattern combinations that are not only aesthetically pleasing, but also capable of attracting the cuddliest cats!
The turns are simple. Select a single patch from your hand and sew it into your quilt, then design another patch in your hand from the three available. If you can create a colour group, you can sew a button onto your quilt. If you manage to create an attractive pattern combination for one of the cats, it will come and curl up on your quilt! At the end of the game, you score points for the buttons, the cats and the way you managed to complete your unique quilt pattern.
