Codenames Duo (Fr)

Codenames Duo keeps the basics of Codenames. Give a one-word clue to try to identify the agents on the table. But now, you work as a team.

Just like in Codenames, there are 25 word cards arranged in a 5 x 5 grid. Each player has a key card with a stand and 9 green words that they have to make their teammate guess. Both players have 3 green words in common. The assassin (in black) is in a different location on each side of the card.

Collectively, you must find the 15 agents without revealing the assassin or too many innocent bystanders, within a limited time. One player chooses to give a clue consisting of a single word and a number to the other player. The receiving player must then choose a card to identify an agent. If the guess is correct, they can try to identify another one. If they reveal as many words as the number indicated by the clue giver, they can continue playing. If they identify an innocent bystander, their turn ends. If they identify the assassin, both players lose!
