"In the Glory of Odin" tells an epic saga with each game you play. You relive the cultural achievements, the trading expeditions, and the plundering of those we now call "Vikings," a term that had a completely different meaning at the end of the first millennium.

When these men from the north set sail for a raid, they used to say they were going on a "viking." Yet their Scandinavian ancestors were much more than just pirates: they were also a people of explorers and state founders. It is said that Leif Eriksson was the first European to set foot in America, long before Christopher Columbus.

In the region now known as Normandy, these intruders were not called Vikings but "Normans." One of them was the famous William the Conqueror, who invaded England in 1066. He succeeded where the King of Norway had failed a few years earlier: to conquer the English throne.

If the people of this tribe became exceptional sailors, it was partly due to their difficult agricultural situation: poor harvests led to great distress.

In this game, you can explore new territories or ravage them. You will also simulate everyday life, gathering resources to achieve a stable financial position within society.

At the end of the game, the player with the most valuable possessions wins.
