Number Composition and Comparison Game (Multi)

Janod

$32.99
It's so much easier to learn to break down numbers when it's fun! Our 2 mischievous caterpillars are ready to help toddlers learn about composition and comparison! This cute wooden educational game for children aged 3 and over will help simplify the understanding of this concept by making the numbers tangible and manipulating volume elements. Children use the coloured beads forming the caterpillars to represent the numbers on the 33 cards in the game. The numbers to be recognised can take the form of digits, the fingers of a hand or the constellation of a dice. By stacking the beads on the wooden support, the child will understand how many beads need to be added to or removed from the body of the caterpillar to obtain a given quantity. Once they've mastered this first step, they can use the cards to learn how to compare "bigger than" and "smaller than". An explanatory leaflet will help you make the most of this game, which is designed for children in nursery school. This game is part of the Janod educational range, developed in collaboration with a school teacher in order to best match the learning and curricula of each level.
