In its basic form, Mrs. Castillo's turtle van has movable wheels and a removable roof. Children can spend hours personalizing it in two different ways, thanks to story-driven building instructions. In party mode, the turtle van can be decorated with a moving tree, a spinning cactus and an opening treasure chest. In flying submarine mode, the turtle van can be equipped with a rocket and a mobile periscope. The latter mode also includes a flying version of Cactus Cat, who can travel alongside.
